Following the departure of Brett Channer in March, Publicis’s Red Lion has tapped Matthew Litzinger to lead the agency as its new president and CCO.

Litzinger makes the move from Cossette, where he served as CCO alongside partner Dave Daga, where he led creative across the agency’s roster of clients, including McDonald’s, Aeroplan and General Mills. Most recently, Litzinger helped the agency open its Chicago office, after it picked up McDonald’s business in the region.

Cossette has gone through a number of changes recently, bolstering its digital, senior and mid-level ranks (check out some past stories here, here and here), but also losing its former digital lead Chad Borlase to Sapient Nitro.
