Endy taps The Hive as its new creative partner

Independent agency The Hive is getting comfortable with Endy as it has won an assignment to collaborate with the Canadian direct-to-consumer mattress brand.

The agency’s team has been mandated with helping the brand’s internal team refine its strategic positioning and develop a new creative platform to support its plans for growth. The brand, which enjoys highly favourable review scores and was named Product of the Year Canada in 2020, has expanded its product assortment into pillows, bedding and bed frames alongside its mattresses and has ambitious objectives for the year ahead.

It picked The Hive because it sees them as a “collaborative partner who could work with us, not for us,” says Christina Sfeir, director of PR and strategic communications at Endy. “Endy is a loved brand in Canada. The Hive demonstrated not only an insightful direction of where they could take our brand, but also an understanding of what’s important to hold on to.”

“Our ambition as an agency is to be the world’s greatest creative collaborator,” adds Jung Ahn, co-ECD at the Hive. “From the very beginning, it was clear that the Endy team shares these values, which is so important in realizing bold ideas that have the power to move a market forward.”

In that spirit, The Hive and Endy have already begun to collaborate and new work is expected in the second half of 2023.

The win is the latest for the Hive, which has been growing quickly over the past two years and is enjoying record organic growth in 2023 following the addition of Ahn and Sacha Ouimet as co-ECDs late last year.
