Mosaic has promoted Jef Moore, one of its longtime creative leaders, into the role of group creative director – charging him with the task of overseeing the agency’s creative teams while driving new business for the agency.
Moore joined Mosaic nearly a decade ago and worked his way up through the creative ranks at the company.
In May 2021, he was named creative director for the agency’s Toronto office as part of a cross-border restructuring strategy. In recent years he has led on several key projects for the agency, including Audi’s “House of Progress” campaign, an experiential effort that showcased the automaker’s vision for an electric future. He also spearheaded efforts to reposition Ace Bakery with a new platform celebrating the love of bread.
In his new role as group creative director, Moore will lead a team to develop channel-agnostic ideas that make an impact.
“I am particularly proud of Mosaic because of the way we’re redefining experiential, going beyond stunts and sampling to create long-lasting, engaging experiences that feel different and change the way people experience brands,” Moore says.
Moore will report to Justine Greenwald, CCO and managing director at Mosaic.
“Trends change and technology evolves, but it’s those authentic relationships he builds with his team and clients that underscore his true passion,” Greenwald says. “We care about the brands we work with, beyond processes and budget,” she adds, and “[Moore] goes deeper to the heart of client objectives and delivers meaningful impact in any landscape.”
Greenwald tells strategy Moore works with several Mosaic clients and this promotion is not in response to one client specifically, but rather on his merit and creative contributions to the agency.
