“Significant growth” is what prompted Publicis Toronto to make three strategic senior appointments.

Mary Chambers, previously a chief strategy officer (CSO) with McCann Canada, has been appointed as CSO of Publicis Toronto. Meanwhile, Catherine Parsons, formerly the agency’s SVP and managing director, is now EVP and managing director of Publicis Hawkeye Canada, with Scott Pinkney, the shop’s SVP ECD, is now moving into Publicis Hawkeye Canada’s chief creative officer role.

The agency reports doubling its Toronto office headcount to more than 610 staff in just two years.

Chambers rejoins the agency after successfully pitching for the Rogers business in early 2024. She will partner with Publicis CCO Vini Dalvi and lead a diverse team of strategists supporting the agency’s portfolio of clients.

Parsons and Pinkney, alongside Publicis Hawkeye chief technology officer Vish Ramkissoon, played critical roles in founding Publicis Hawkeye eight years ago and growing its position and reputation as one of the leading CRM brands in North America. Publicis Hawkeye’s client roster includes Four Seasons, Rogers, Walmart, Dairy Queen, Intuit and Panera.

“As true innovators and versatile talents, they perfectly embody our alchemy culture,” says Brett McIntosh, president of Publicis Toronto. “Their promotions mark a pivotal moment in our journey and I’m confident they will lead us to even greater achievements.”
