Digital AOY winners Rethink, McCann and FCB spent this year on the cutting edge

Last week, we featured stories from the Fall print edition of Strategy Magazine, starting with what made the Media Agency of the Year winners shine. So far this week, we highlighted the Agency winners and the Small AOY winners. Today, we’re focusing on the Digital AOY winners.

First up, Rethink had a stellar Silver Jubilee, earning a Gold Digital AOY among a litany of awards in 2024. How? The Rethink team shares its strategy as the agency celebrates its 25th anniversary in the profile below.

The Silver runner-up was McCann, which brought in new CCO and AI lead Ian Mackenzie, who led the agency’s digitally-led “See You There” for Black & Abroad. The campaign also helped McCann uncover the biases that exist in AI.

FCB picked up a Bronze, in part, for its dedication to future-proofing, which included a global launch and access to cutting-edge AI tools.
