Agency Wins: Angry Butterfly named AOR at Tahini’s

Angry Butterfly secures Tahini’s business

After a competitive pitch, Tahini’s has chosen to partner with Toronto indie creative and strategic consultancy Angry Butterfly as its AOR.

After opening in Canada in 2012, the Middle Eastern-style QSR has grown to encompass more than 60 stores and as it carves out market share across the country with its “Mediterranean Fusion” positioning.

“Tahini’s is a true challenger brand, and one that is on a trajectory into another stratosphere,” says Erin Kawalecki, partner and CCO at Angry Butterfly. “When there are so many avid fans of a brand already, our job is to capture that energy and present it back to the world in a compelling way.”

Angry Butterfly tells strategy that its first work for Tahini’s will be in-market this summer.

Earlier this spring, disruptive sleep brand Hush Canada picked Angry Butterfly as its creative partner after a competitive pitch.
