Alaska Communications, Innocean Canada come to AOR agreement
Innocean Canada has been named AOR for Alaska Communications’ creative and media services.
The partnership will focus on redefining Alaska Communications’ brand strategy and platform, increasing brand awareness and consideration and supporting business growth, according to a news release.
Alaska Communications provides high-speed internet and advanced technology solutions across the state.
A campaign including three brand-new TV spots highlighting the reliability of Alaska Communications’ services was launched on Tuesday.
“Partnering with Innocean has been an exciting step forward as we evolve our brand and deepen
our connection with customers across Alaska,” said Drew Stevenson, SVP consumer at Alaska Communications. “These new spots reflect the everyday reliability our customers count on – delivered in a way that feels authentic, fun and distinctly Alaskan.”
Four brands added to Category’s client roster
Category Communications has earned PR remits online car retailer Clutch, hyperlocal social network Nextdoor Canada and digital-insurance provider PolicyMe.
Category has also been named PR and communications partner for June’s Toronto Tech Week.
Toronto-based boutique PR shop, which opened in February 2024, now staffs a full-time team of nine PR professionals with backgrounds in media, traditional agency and in-house experience.
Bottle Cap snags gin win
Toronto’s Bottle Cap has been named AOR for Hendrick’s Gin in Canada.
Hendrick’s Gin is a premium Scottish gin infused with rose and cucumber and botanicals.
Previously, Bottle Cap has supported brand work by cannabis companies Tweed, Tokyo Smoke and the Sleeman Breweries brand of beer.
Cyberimpact connects with Parks Canada
Parks Canada has selected Cymberimpact as its official email marketing provider as the government agency looks to strengthen its connection the Canadian public.
The Quebec-based company has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide Parks Canada’s email marketing platform.
“Being selected by such an iconic federal agency as Parks Canada is a tremendous honour for our team,” Cyberimpact general manager Geoffrey Blanc said. “It is concrete proof that our user-friendly, locally developed and [Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation] CASL-compliant solution meets the high standards of public institutions.”
