Neil Walker-Wells and Stephanie Walker-Wells have pulled back the curtain on their new creative and production agency, Not So Secret.
“We’ve been talking about this project for about two years now,” says founder and CCO Neil Walker-Wells. “The last year we’ve really focused on clearly defining our offering, designing our brand and curating our talent roster.”
He says part of Not So Secret’s vision is to help steer creativity as more clients take work into their own hands in the age of AI.
And Stephanie Walker-Wells, Not So Secret’s president and head of production, tells strategy that the agency will look to foster big-picture ideas informed by production innovation and solutions.
“We work project by project, which gives clients access to senior-level thinking and execution without needing to commit to a full-scale agency model,” she says. “We’ve kept our structure lean on purpose. It gives us the ability to build bespoke agency teams, including strategy around each brief, pulling from the extensive network of top-tier talent we’ve worked with in various categories and marketplaces.”
Neil Walker-Wells most recently held an executive creative director role at Juniper Park\TBWA Toronto, while Stephanie Walker-Wells will stay on as VP of production at Arrivals + Departures until year’s end and continue to assist A+D on a project by project basis thereafter.
The pair say they don’t plan to focus on a sector category specialization, but will be keen to work with small- to medium-sized businesses, startups and other clients that align with their values and interests in sustainability and diversity.
Not So Secret has already contributed global brand messaging work for QA.com, Europe’s largest tech training provider, and production and consulting support for Mediabrands Content Studio.
