An experienced creative director is the latest hire made in the growth streak Ogilvy Montreal has been on over the last six months.
The newest addition is creative director Laurent Prud’homme, who most recently held the same role at Taxi. He moved over to the agency last year after Theo, WPP’s dedicated agency for Rogers, was dissolved. He has also been a creative director at Cossette, ECD at BBDO Montreal and creative group head at Havas.
The agency has also hired Maxime Brunelle, a former freelance graphic designer who has worked with the teams at Bleublancrouge, Brandbourg, Écorce, Cossette, Taxi and Tuxedo, among others.
Other recent additions to Ogilvy’s Montreal creative team include senior art director Romain Joveneau, who brought senior experience from Lg2 and K72 when he joined last August.
Last May, Ogilvy restructured its leadership in Canada, bringing its three offices under the purview of a single, national executive team.
Other hires the agency has made in Montreal since then include director of strategy Amine Raïs and senior strategist Lucas Merlino, both of whom joined in September. Raïs had previously been VP of strategy at No Fixed Address in Montreal and director of strategy at K72. Merlino joined from Youville Haussmann Park, where he worked with clients including Vuse, Apple, BRP, Lightspeed and Mercedes. Also joining late last year was account director Andreea Nenu, who is working on the agency’s TD account.
