Arrivals + Departures lands a new creative director

Independent creative agency Arrivals + Departures (A+D) has added Natasha Wittke as creative director, Halifax. Wittke is an award-winning CD with more than 18 years of agency experience specializing in CRM, digital, social and integrated campaigns.

“Natasha is a natural leader and mentor who is passionate, pragmatic and strategic in her approach – she is the right person to lead A+D into the next chapter,” says Martin Delaney, partner, president and chief strategist in Halifax.

Natasha has worked with Toronto-based agencies including Taxi, Rain 43, Juniper Park, Publicis, Ogilvy, MacLaren McCann and DDB, collaborating with brands such as Roots Canada, Chapters Indigo, eBay, Louis Vuitton and Shopify.

Among several new client wins in the last 12 months, A+D Halifax also renewed long-term partnerships with Tourism Prince Edward Island and the Ontario Brain Institute, cementing a  portfolio of regional and national clients including Efficiency Nova Scotia, Girl Guides of Canada, Nova Scotia Community College and the Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia.

Zeno Group adds two to its senior leadership

Zeno Group has promoted two global leaders to newly created roles with Julie Georgas named president of Zeno Canada and Mark Shadle appointed as chief reputation strategist, based out of Chicago.

The appointments have been made to further the agency’s ongoing growth and evolution. Shadle and Georgas will continue to report to Zeno’s chief operating officer Nancy Ruscheinski.

Georgas has led Zeno Canada’s transformation throughout the past seven years as managing director, significantly building its presence and reputation in the country. Georgas has grown her team to more than 40 people across three markets – Vancouver, Toronto and Quebec – and built a multi-sector client portfolio, one that includes Barilla pasta, Kraft Heinz and Turkey Farmers. Tahiti Tourisme just recently named Zeno Group its marketing AOR for Canada after a multi-round RFP process.

In her new role, Georgas will continue to oversee all operations and develop additional growth strategies for the region.

Currently global managing director of corporate affairs, Mark Shadle joined Zeno in 2010 to establish and build the firm’s corporate practice. Shadle will continue to lead the agency’s global Corporate Affairs practice, which grew 27% last year with a range of specialty areas including purpose and impact, employee engagement, executive positioning, C-suite consulting and issues/crisis management. Shadle has also spearheaded several Zeno research initiatives that explore key corporate affairs topics.
