Rethink, FCB, Dentsu pick up multiple Golds in 2024 Clio Awards

Canadian creative work was well-represented at this year’s Clio Awards, picking up more than 80 award wins in total.

This year, Canadian agencies received 15 Golds at the Clio Awards, which were announced on Tuesday. Rethink racked up eight Golds, while FCB Canada won three, Dentsu Creative Canada picked up two, and Citizen Relations and Type1/VML won a Gold each.

Rethink’s eight Golds at this year’s Clios recognized its work with Kraft Heinz on the “Heinz Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch,” “Heinz Ketchup Fraud” and “Philadelphia Schmear Socks” campaigns, as well as its creative work on “Coors Lights Out” for Coors Light, and the RGD Branding Awards for the Association of Registered Graphic Designers.

FCB Canada’s three Golds, meanwhile, each recognized the agency’s acclaimed work with Adidas on the Runner 321 campaign. Dentsu Creative Canada’s two Golds at this year’s Clios were for its “Inflation Cookbook” campaign for SkipTheDishes. Finally, Citizen Relations won a Gold for its “Asshole Activists” work with Tushy, while Type1/VML won Gold for Volkswagen Canada’s “Sans Émission” campaign.

The Clio Awards recognize global creative excellence in advertising. The winners will be celebrated in an awards ceremony in New York City on May 1.
