People moves at Mint and The Garden

Mint adds managing partner

Mint Agency has brought on Tyler Robson (pictured above) as managing partner to guide the shop through its next phase.

Robson brings extensive management and leadership experience to the executive team. Before joining Mint, he led agency business and operations at Broken Heart Love Affair (BHLA) as EVP and managing director. Before BHLA, he was VP of business at Cossette, where he led teams for accounts that included Google, YouTube, Indigo, SickKids and McDonald’s.

“[He] brings a distinct and innovative perspective to our people, product and process that will further elevate our craft and make a positive impact on the agency as a whole,” says Mint president Samantha Margolis Fogle.

The Garden is promoting four senior leaders

Toronto-based creative agency The Garden has made multiple promotions across its senior teams.

Lindsay Eady has been promoted to executive creative director, having been a “driving force behind the agency’s creative output” since joining from FCB Global in 2018, according to the press released announcing the promotions.

Jenn Kittmer has been named group strategy director, after four-and-a-half years in strategic leadership with the agency. She came to The Garden from John St., where she held the role of senior strategist and worked on brand accounts such as Shoppers Drug Mart, No Frills, Loblaw, TJX, Schneiders and Kruger.

After almost three years of success guiding key client relationships, Kendell Edney moves into the role of VP of client leadership. Edney recently held client experience duties for The Turn Lab.

Adriana Ivory, who has been with The Garden for eight years, takes on the title of executive design director.

“These promotions reflect our commitment to nurturing internal talent and ensuring we remain at the forefront of creative innovation and strategic leadership,” says Shane Ogilvie, co-founder and chief creative officer at The Garden.

The promotions come during a period of growth for The Garden, which this spring joined the Humanise Collective, and added clients like Carlsberg, Enbridge Sustain and Kao Canada (Bioré and John Frieda) to its roster. The shop recently supported a SodaStream Canada sustainability campaign.

The agency sits at 25 full-time staff, with women making up over 70% of its workforce.
