Balmoral names PR vet to chair of its advisory board

Balmoral Multicultural Marketing CEO and founder Sharifa Khan (right) has appointed public affairs consultant Bob Richardson (left) as chair of the agency’s advisory board. Richardson previously served as a member of the advisory board, established in 2023 to guide the agency’s future growth and development.

In his new role, Richardson will be overseeing the agency’s advisory board and providing external expertise, industry connections and strategic insights for the agency.

Richardson is the principal consultant at Toronto-based Hammersmith Consulting. His work history includes senior executive roles at National Public Relations, Edelman Canada, Ipsos Reid and the Angus Reid Group.

Proof welcomes ex-Deputy PM chief of staff

Proof Strategies has welcomed welcome Leslie Church as the PR agency’s senior counselor.

She brings nearly 20 years of global expertise in government, public policy and technology to the role.

Previously, Church was chief of staff of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. She was also chief of staff to the Minister of Public Services and Procurement Canada.

Publicis Hawkeye adds ex-Jam copywriter

Breanna Muir is joining Publicis Hawkeye as senior copywriter, working on the Four Seasons account.

Previously, Muir was copywriter for Jam Direct, working on brand accounts such as Toyota, Lexus, Bell and Virgin Plus.
