BrandBourg welcomes group director
BrandBourg, a member of the Humanise Collective, has appointed Fiona Birot as its new group director of CPG client services.
Birot is a former senior account director for Marks, part of SGS & Co. Previously, she served for nearly eight years as an account director with Pigeon.
According to a release announcing the appointment, the move underscores the marketing, branding and design shop’s “commitment to delivering unparalleled expertise and solutions to our consumer packaged goods (CPG) clients.”
FCB adds a senior strategist
starting a new position as senior strategist at FCB Canada.
For nearly two years, Makarov was a cultural strategist with Cossette. The former freelance branding strategist was also strategic planner with The&Partnership Canada.
Senior promotions at PR/GR agency McMillan Vantage
Marisa Maslink has been promoted to vice president at McMillan Vantage.
A veteran of the firm for five years, Maslink has been serving its government relations clients. She also has extensive political experience, having served as a party executive for Ontario’s PC Party in the 2018 election.
Andrea Duarte Munoz, who joined McMillan in 2022, has also been promoted to consultant.
