Leo Burnett picks up two Bronze Pencils

Leo Burnett took home two Bronze Pencils at last night’s One Show Entertainment Awards, one in the Short-Form category for its “Dig it! Dig it!” work for Cheer, and the other in Best Brand-Channel for the “James Ready Spelling Bee Lottery.” The agency also took home two prizes of Merit, one in the Online Gaming category for the “Spelling Bee” and the other for Procter & Gamble in Best Brand Channel for Mr. Clean’s “Real Friend on Facebook.”

Also taking home awards of Merit were Doug & Serge in Short-form for the Canadian Film Centre for “Charlie Bit My Finger,” TBWA/Toronto in Specials or one-time screenings for “Jeff’s Day” for Accessible Media Inc., Hard Citizen in Short-form for “Shit Girls Say” and Saatchi & Saatchi in Branded Applications for Procter & Gamble’s “Ariel’s Big Stain.”

The awards were handed out last night at a ceremony hosted by filmmaker Morgan Spurlock. The prize for Best in Show went to CAA for its “Back to the Start” short film for Chipotle in the US.
