The&Partnership has rounded out its Canadian leadership team, hiring Andre Louis as its first head of strategy in Canada.

Based in Toronto, Louis will oversee the agency’s strategy and planning teams, including those in Montreal and Vancouver. He will also be a member of the agency’s Canadian leadership team, which was established in the fall with the hiring of ECD Ron Smrczek and president Christopher Andrews. That team was added to in November when it brought on Jack Shute to run operations in Vancouver.

Louis joins from Camp Jefferson (formerly Dare Toronto), where he had been VP and head of planning. He joined the agency in the fall of 2012 from Taxi, and had previously held roles at agencies in New Zealand and the U.K. Since coming to Canada, Louis has worked on brands including Boston Pizza, the NHL, Koodo and Telus, the brand that launched The&Partnership in Canada and remains the agency’s key client.

The client services team at The&Partnership has been growing, with new account managers Lindsay Di Tolla (from Publicis), Joachim Holmgren (from Sandbox) and Jon Nestoras (from JWT), account director Chris Edmeades (also from JWT) and group account director Zeeshan Hussain (from Bensimon Byrne) joining over the last three months. Marcel Zierfuss, formerly a freelancer who has had strategy and planning roles at Havas, Leo Burnett, Critical Mass and Sid Lee, joins Louis’ strategy team as digital strategy director.

In the creative department, Nabil Rachid joined the agency as ACD in November from Leo Burnett, while senior art director Jennifer Saunders joined at the beginning of the year from Sandbox.
