Independent creative agency Lg2 is recruiting new leadership following the departure of Nellie Kim and Chris Hirsch.
The duo, who had been partners, VPs and ECDs first joined the agency in 2014 as partners and CDs, as part of a move with president Jeremy Gayton to launch the agency’s shop in this market. Hirsch had also been, since June, an internal director on Lg2’s board.
“Nellie and Chris’ creativity and counsel have been instrumental in building Lg2 into the national success it is today,” Gayton said.
The agency is seeking additional leadership to fill the newly vacated positions. In the meantime, Ryan Crouchman, also partner, VP and ECD with the agency, will assume leadership of the creative team in Toronto, supported by CDs Jeff Cheung and Rana Chatterjee. Nick Paget, VP and ECD in Montreal, and others from the agency’s Montreal and Quebec City offices will support them as needed.
Reflecting on their previous work, Kim said, “I’m proud to have helped start a world-class agency filled with some of the most incredibly talented people we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with,” while Hirsch added, “We are proud of the tremendous creative output we were able to achieve on behalf of Lg2’s clients, and will continue to champion the power of ideas.”
