RBI, parent of Tims, Popeyes gives its leadership team a shake up
Restaurant Brands International, which owns Tim Hortons, Popeyes, Burger King and Firehouse Subs, has announced a slew of changes at the top.
Sami Siddiqui has been appointed RBI’s chief financial officer, succeeding Matt Dunnigan who is leaving the company. Jeff Klein, Popeyes’ CMO, has been appointed as president of Popeyes US and Canada, succeeding Siddiqui who has led the brand for nearly four years.
Thiago Santelmo has been appointed president of international, succeeding David Shear, who will remain with the company for a year as an advisor, and assist in the transition. The leadership changes are effective immediately and a new president of EMEA and chief marketing officer for Popeyes will be named at a later date.
BMW retains That Good to engage with Canadians
BMW Canada has retained That Good for a year-long effort to create engagement in Canada surrounding the launch of its new BMW XM.
The shop’s duties will include content development, digital storytelling and event execution where required.
Milk Creative Communications adds two to its client roster
Vancouver PR shop, Milk Creative Communications has added two clients from the beauty and outdoor lifestyle categories.
The shop is supporting Canadian beauty brand Epic Blend with media and influencer relations. Milk will also support functional fashion brand Orage with strategy and planning for its fall and winter season, executing media and influencer seeding and media relations.
In February, açai bowls and smoothies chain Oakberry also named Milk its agency of record for PR.
