Danone Canada gets a new president

Frederic Guichard has been appointed the new president of Danone Canada.

Guichard has held several leadership positions internationally, including general manager of the CPG’s central and eastern European business, and general manager for Evian Volvic International, where he drove profitable growth for Evian, Volvic and Badoit premium mineral waters in more than 150 countries.

A Danone general manager for Poland, he also served as marketing manager for Bio/Activia in France, where he helped to successfully manage the brand name switch from Bio to Activia.

His appointment will be effective June 1, and he will relocate to Canada shortly. Guichard will succeed Dan Magliocco, who served in the capacity for five years and who was recently named president of Danone’s North America business.

Danone is the maker of Silk, which launched a new plant-based yogurt earlier this year, Oikos and International Delight.

McCann Worldgroup appoints new global president for Craft

McCann Worldgroup has appointed Lalita Koehler to global president, Craft, the network’s global creative production agency, which specializes in content creation, digital, print, broadcast, and transcreation spanning 120 countries.

A 20+ year veteran, Koehler makes the move to Craft from Publicis Groupe where she has been chief production officer, Publicis Productions (PXP) since 2021.

Prior to that, Koehler was head of production and chief operating officer at Saatchi & Saatchi, Los Angeles from 2015 to 2023, overseeing Toyota.

Her brand experience also includes Dom Pérignon, Walmart, Ubisoft, and Apple among others.

Ipsos Strategy3 names new partner

The Ipsos consultancy has added Diane Ridgway-Cross as an associate partner.

Ridgway-Cross, a former senior vice president of business strategy and development at McCann Canada, has spearheaded business strategy, growth initiatives and operations at renowned marketing communications agencies worldwide.

Additionally, she has served as the chief marketing officer of a Fortune 500 retailer, crafting growth strategies and orchestrating integrated marketing campaigns for diverse brands across various industries.

She has led consumer insights, strategy and marketing communications for such brands as Air Canada, Bombardier, TJX Corporation, Reitmans, Nespresso, Nestlé, Coca-Cola and Kimberly-Clark.
