QSR operator Redberry Restaurants has appointed Chelsea Kellock as the new vice president of marketing, effective immediately.

Founded in 2005, Redberry is one of the largest quick-service restaurant franchisees in Canada with more than 185 locations under the Burger King (of which is represents 40% of the Canadian locations), Taco Bell, and Jersey Mike’s Subs banners, across five provinces.

To support what it calls an “unprecedented expansion,” the company has created an executive role dedicated to overseeing its marketing initiatives, as it plans to open over 600 new Burger King, Taco Bell and Jersey Mike’s locations across Canada in the next decade.

Kellock joins Redberry with extensive experience in leading business strategy and executing cross-functional initiatives within the Canadian restaurant industry, recently as COO for Recipe Unlimited and VP of marketing for Harvey’s. For five years, Kellock led the national marketing strategy for Montana’s, including rebranding the restaurant company.

Chris Racine, chief operations officer for Redberry said Kellock’s “appointment is a testament to our commitment to evolving from tactical marketing to strategic brand leadership at the executive level.”
