Industry Moves: Christopher Law joins King Ursa as partner, co-CEO

King Ursa names media vet partner, co-CEO

King Ursa has made another senior leadership move, adding Toronto industry vet Christopher Law as partner, co-CEO, based out of Miami Beach. Earlier this month, King Ursa promoted Helena Lazar to EVP, managing director.

Law comes to the role with 25 years of leadership within digital media, sales and marketing, and the shop says his expertise lies in building transformative media models and leveraging data for impactful storytelling. Most recently, he founded CTV marketplace Media Pulse, which was acquired by Blue Ant Media in 2022.

Law was also president of Cue Digital Media, where he had responsibility for revenue generation while managing profitability, working with brands such as CNN, UFC, NFL, Business Insider, Bleacher Report and College Humor.

As King Ursa celebrates its 11th anniversary, it will unveil a “new USP and agency branding to reflect its commitment to driving the industry forward,” says Paulo Salomao, founder, co-CEO of King Ursa.

King Ursa’s client roster includes Bimbo Canada, Timberland, Zabiha and Hull Ferries.

DonerNorth names head of growth

Rob Feightner is joining DonerNorth as head of growth.

He was most recently an associate at Reynolds & Fyshe, a Canadian marketing management consultancy, where his role was advising marketers, advertisers and procurement on ad agency selection, performance evaluation and marketing management.

Feightner spent more than nine years at Zulu Alpha Kilo, most recently as the shop’s dPrior, he was managing director at Taxi, servicing the Telus account.

Hill & Knowlton adds an ACD

Hill & Knowlton has hired Adam Tuck to its team as associate creative director.

Tuck was most recently a freelance ACD and prior to that, he was senior art director with FCB Canada, working on brand accounts such as OLG, Sobeys, BMO, Makers Pizza, The Home Depot and Jolly Ranchers.

Tuck was also a senior art director with LG2, working on campaigns for LCBO, Catelli Pasta, and Women’s College Hospital. He also worked as an art director with Zulu Alpha Kilo.
