Jason Dubroy unveils The Commercery

Veteran shopper and omnichannel marketer Jason Dubroy is launching The Commercery, a connected commerce consultancy,

The Commercery delivers strategy solutions across three core practice areas: commerce consulting, “opportunity science” – a phrase Dubroy uses to describe blending AI, behaviour science and dating mining – and speaking on media and retail futures. The consultancy soft-launched a few months ago.

The Commercery’s Commerce Consulting practice provides tailored strategies for agencies, founders, brands, SMEs and trade associations, offering services such as new business opportunity creation, marketplace differential mapping and AI automation for omni-commerce.

Prior to founding The Commercery, Dubroy served as SVP of commerce and experience at Mosaic North America. He says The Commercery isn’t a consulting service per se. Rather, he says it’s opportunity architecture “helping stakeholders get to bespoke solutions that drive growth and innovation in an environment that is changing faster than most can adapt to it.”

Dubroy has contributed subject matter expertise on a range of subjects, including self-sampling, the future of convenience channels, frictionless retail and how the pandemic has shaped shopper marketing. He is a is a frequent speaker and industry panelist on commerce marketing, retailing, omnichannel strategy, and consumer insight. At the upcoming Connected Commerce Forum 2024, he will speak on the subject of finding opportunities amid retail change.

“I aim to inspire and empower businesses to embrace an opportunity mindset and seize emerging opportunities in the ever-evolving commerce landscape,” Dubroy says.

Throughout his career, Dubroy has worked with multiple CPG brands and leading retailers and FMCG’s in almost every category. He has led creative campaigns along the entire commercial experience.

Prior to Mosaic, Dubroy was managing director of ShopperDDB/TracyLocke, which became part of the Omnicom Retail Group. He cultivated insight, strategy and innovation for PepsiCo, KraftHeinz, Volkswagen, Pfizer, 3M, Kellogg’s, Clorox, Campbell’s and others.
