Kraft Heinz announces key senior marketing and strategy promotion

Daniel Gotlib is starting a new position as vice president of marketing and strategy for Canada at Kraft Heinz.

Gotlib has been with the CPG eight years, recently as head of marketing and strategy for meals, beverages, desserts and infant.

He was general manager for the portfolio, whose brands include Kraft Dinner, Classico, Crave, Heinz Beans and Kool-Aid.

He also served as associate director, brand building and innovation, leading a team team across global and local brands including Heinz, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Kraft Peanut Butter, Kraft Dressings and Renee’s Dressings.

Gotlib previously worked as a marketer with Canadian Tire, as a marketing promotions planner.

Cossette makes senior digital promotion

Jean-Hugo Filion has been appointed senior vice president and general manager of digital solutions for Cossette. Filion recently worked as the agency’s senior vice president of business.

He held a seven-year stint as Cossette’s vice president, business lead, working on such brands as Destination Canada, Alliance de l’industrie touristique du Québec, Home Depot, General Mills, Liberté, Google, Telus L’Oréal and Simons.

He started his Cossette career back in 2005 as an account executive for Bell and Home Depot.

NFB promotes within its marketing department

Andrea Elalouf is starting a new position as marketing project manager at National Film Board of Canada, based out of Montreal.

Before joining the NFB in the summer of 2022, she worked as senior marketing and communications manager for the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival in Toronto.

Previously, Elalouf was associate director of communications for Canadian Stage, responsible for the development and strategic implementation of comprehensive communications, marketing and public relations plans for the company’s institutional and programmatic initiatives.
