A new Ontario Tourism spot puts the focus on the fans gearing up to watch the Games.

Get out your face paint – it’s time to get Pan Am ready.

In its new spot for the Games, the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation has shifted the lens to the people getting geared up to watch the Games, which kick off in Toronto in July. Showcasing people donning different countries’ colours (including in their hair), the 60-second video is set to the intense “I Feel Something Coming On.”

“Get Ready” is the second spot from the OTMPC. The first, “Invade” launched last fall and showed athletes from across the Americas descending on Toronto, with the tagline “Epic is On.” The new spot features the same line, along with “41 countries. One home,” paying homage to the diversity in Ontario and Canada.

Both spots were created by FCB Toronto.

The new video also shifts away from the OTMPC’s focus on the athletes, which has included testimonial videos used online and 15-second Instagram video ads.

The TV spot will run until July 26, and will also run online, in cinema, at hotels and shopping centres and at Ontario Tourism information centres, with the media buy led by ZenithOptimedia.
