Procter & Gamble has brought back “Thank You, Mom” with a mini-documentary just ahead of the 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games, which kick off this Friday.

For its latest iteration, the CPG company – whose brands include Tide, Febreze, Pantene and Gillette, among others – is putting the spotlight on Canadian track and field athlete Brianne Theisen-Eaton and her mother Kim.

The doc – created by The Story Lab and Clark Stanley Productions in Toronto – shows Theisen-Eaton’s journey from small town Saskatchewan to being an Olympic-level heptathlon and pentathlon athlete, with help from her mom (and various P&G products) along the way.

P&G’s “Thank You, Mom” program launched in 2012 as part of a global Olympic platform, providing funds for mothers of Canadian athletes to travel to the London Olympics, along with other marketing initiatives.
