Toronto’s Mint Agency has picked up a pair of new AOR assignments, fresh on the heels of a new agency partnership and bringing on a new leader for its strategy offering.
Following an eight month-long review process, Mint has been named PR and events AOR for Nespresso. Mint has worked on a range of projects for Nespresso for roughly four years before being signed as AOR.
Mint has also been selected as the first Canadian AOR for kitchen appliance brand Vitamix. Mint will handle PR digital and social media, media buying and design strategies as part of the assignment.
The agency has also announced a working relationship with boutique PR agency Luxine and events-focused agency Altitude C, both based in Montreal. The partnership will allow the agencies to create integrated teams pulled from all three shops that can produce solutions in both English and French markets.
Mint has also been bolstering its internal capabilities. In May, it hired Lindy Frank DeFazio – formerly a senior account director at Kwittken and creative director at Weber Shandwick – as its new VP of strategy. In February, it hired Jason Cowell as VP of creative and strategy, but he has since departed for the CD role at Ford’s GTB agency.
