Campbell’s announces senior-management shakeup

Canadian GM appointed president of U.S. snacks at Campbell’s

Campbell Company of Canada is aiming to accelerate its strategic growth plan with a set of senior-management changes, according to a news release.

Elizabeth Duggan, currently senior VP and general manager at Campbell Company of Canada, has been appointed president of the company’s U.S. snacks division, effective May 12.

Duggan will oversee the long-term growth and margin expansion of the snacks division and work closely with current snacks president Chris Foley before he steps aside in the summer after a 25-year career.

Duggan joined Campbell’s in 2019 as senior VP of the transformation office to drive company-wide transformation initiatives and business planning.

She took on the role of senior VP and general manager of Campbell’s Canadian business in 2022.

Before joining Campbell’s, Duggan was an associate partner at McKinsey & Company where she focused on global consumer goods and the retail sector.

Campbell’s names president for Canadian operations

Current Campbell’s VP of marketing Mackenzie Davison has moved into the role of president of the Canadian business.

Davison, who assumed VP of marketing duties for Campbell’s in the fall of 2022 and oversaw a recent turkey retail campaign, served in senior leadership roles at Mondelez Canada for nearly 10 years prior.

She led the in-store activation and media team at Mondelez and oversaw major shopper marketing programs for Crispers.

Davison also spent time as director of marketing, chocolate and candy at Kraft Foods and as director of marketing, everyday chocolate, for Cadbury.

 

VP of marketing successor named at Campbell’s Canada

Sarah Broomfield succeeds Mackenzie Davison in the marketing VP role at Campbell’s.

Broomfield joined Campbell’s as a senior brand manager in 2014 and moved up the ranks at the CPG to become the director of marketing of the snacks portfolio in June 2023.

Broomfield oversaw the recent rollout of the “Pushing the Limits of Flavour” platform for Snyder’s of Hanover and supported the launch of Campbell’s Goldfish Crisps snack innovation.

 

 

Chief growth officer role established at Campbell’s

Lastly, Philadelphia-based Janda Lukin, currently senior VP and CMO of snacks, has been named to the newly created role of chief growth officer, effective June 2.

Lukin will be responsible for driving accelerated growth across the company, according to the release.

Lukin joined Campbell’s in 2016 as VP of marketing for beverages and was then named VP of marketing for soups in 2018. She was appointed stateside CMO for snacks in 2019.
