Mint and Momentum win OLG’s XM business

Mint and Momentum have been selected as agencies of record to help Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) brand message through experiential marketing.

Following a competitive RFP process, Mint and Momentum Worldwide will co-pilot joint AOR work for OLG, working on experiential, events and sponsorship activations.

Mint is looking to bring a fresh perspective to the gambling platform OLG.ca, which includes Proline+, iCasino and Instants.

Momentum, meanwhile, is looking to develop experiences that help consumers connect directly with the OLG brand, in communities around Ontario. The agency will also look to leverage partnerships in arts, music, gastronomy, sports and entertainment to aid with this work.

Innocean tees up an account win

Innocean Canada has been named agency of record for golf manufacturer, TaylorMade.

TaylorMade awarded the assignment to Innocean after completing a strategic review in Canada.

Innocean’s Toronto office will lead digital and traditional media strategy and planning, with plans for 2024 already underway. In addition to providing strategic leadership, the assignment includes Innocean’s full suite of media services with support for buying, data and analytics across all the brand’s marketing activities. The partnership will also allow TaylorMade to leverage Innocean’s creative services to lead the development of Canadian content, communications, and activations to further elevate the brand’s presence in the Canadian Market.

Fuse Create boosts its client roster by three

Toronto indie shop Fuse Create has added the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Prince Edward Island, Nashville non-profit Soles4Souls, and global charitable organization Compassion Canada to its remits.

The Charlottetown-based Confederation Centre of the Arts is seeking agency assistance with building national brand awareness and engagement. Fuse Create won the integrated creative assignment, including media, and will develop campaigns and content in the coming months.

Nashville’s Soles4Souls is a global non-profit which turns unwanted shoes and clothing into opportunities to make change in people’s lives. Fuse Create’s remit includes creative and PR in the U.S., starting with a campaign launching in the new year.

The agency has also won the media and PR business from child development/poverty organization, Compassion Canada. Fuse Create will lead the PR efforts for major pulses throughout the year, including year-end giving season.

BrandBourg and Bleublancrouge roll out brand development service

BrandBourg and Bleublancrouge (BBR) have launched a new integrated brand development service designed for businesses looking to further insource their branding and communications.

According to the two shops, the service offering is designed to help businesses and organizations take charge of their brand’s deployment, with expert support at key moments throughout the process. It’s a service “built on a foundation of strategic creativity, astute financial and operational vision, and BrandBourg and BBR’s complementary expertise in branding, design and communications,” according to the news release announcing the service.

Reebok Canada names MacIntyre its comms AOR

MacIntyre Communications is the newly minted communications AOR for Reebok Canada.

The appointment follows Reebok’s announcement regarding its long-term strategy to re-emerge into team sports and focus on the brand’s global commitment to performance basketball.
