Zulu solidifies New York leadership with head of strategy hire

Zulu Alpha Kilo is announcing the addition of Emily Garvey as the shop’s first head of strategy for its New York office.

With Garvey’s appointment, the office’s leadership team is now finalized, consisting of Tim Gordon, partner and CCO, and Meghan Mullen, managing director.

Garvey joins from Johannes Leonardo, where she drove its new business streak recently with key wins like Instagram, Oscar Mayer, HBO Max and Amazon Music. As group strategy director, Garvey oversaw strategy on Kraft Heinz, the agency’s largest account.

Media Profile hires new VP

PR agency Media Profile has brought on Amanda Gun-Munro as its VP.

With nearly two decades of strategic communications experience, Gun-Munro will be responsible for supporting key consumer clients and business development. In her role, Gun-Munro will work closely with counterparts on the agency’s leadership team to oversee the development of creative and impactful PR campaigns.

Prior to joining Media Profile, Gun-Munro served as VP of National’s consumer business, where she oversaw a portfolio of high-profile clients across a range of industries and played a key role in driving business growth and expanding the firm’s offerings.

Snap names H+K as its PR AOR

Snap has named H+K as its public relations AOR in Canada. The PR shop will leverage expertise in the consumer marketing, technology and public affairs space to provide integrated and strategic communications support, media relations, thought leadership and more.

Bond brings on senior marketing manager

Alina Charania is starting a new position as senior marketing project manager at Bond Brand Loyalty. She previously occupied a consultancy role at Bond. Prior to joining the organization in 2020, Charania was a digital marketing consultant at Globe & Mail, leading delivery of member acquisition campaigns for The Globe’s digital platform.
