Toronto-based The Colony Project is expanding to Montreal, opening a second office focused on serving its client base in Quebec.
The agency’s name in Quebec is La Force du Collectif, meant to encompass the The Colony Project’s idea of many citizens coming together for a common good, according to a press release from the shop. Collectif, like Colony, will be led by managing director Amanda Shuchat.
The Colony Project was launched in January to complement PR firm Citizen Relations and help its growth by bringing on a broader client base.
Colony/Collectif works with Hyundai Auto Canada Corp., Alcatel OneTouch and M&M Food Markets, among others. It also works closely with fellow Vision7 agency Cossette on integrated communications.
For its part, Citizen Relations named Nick Cowling as president for North America earlier this year.
