Two Canadian agencies made the Kinsale Shark Awards shortlist, Ireland’s advertising award show. Toronto-based BBDO has 25 chances to win a Shark, while Leo Burnett has four. The winners of the 50th annual event will be announced on Sept. 15.
BBDO is eligible for wins in multiple categories, including Print, Digital, Broadcast, Ambient and Radio, for its work with clients including The Canadian Paralympic Committee “Unstoppable” campaign, Fed Ex “Non-rush shipping” campaign, and its ever-popular award-winning Skittles work, including “Touch the Untouchable,” and “Gif Rap,” among others.
Leo Burnett may win for its Raising the Roof “Dog” poster, Ikea’s Moving Day campaign and TVO campaign in the Print category.
