Courage is Taco Bell’s new Canadian AOR, following a competitive pitch process.
The remit will see the Toronto shop “leveraging the QSR brand’s iconic status for new, culture-defining creative, brand acts, and all of its social media,” according to the news release announcing Courage’s partnership with Taco Bell Canada.
Courage’s first work with Taco Bell is expected to launch this spring.
“Getting to work with Taco Bell, a global favorite that isn’t afraid to make noise, is an absolute dream and we couldn’t be more grateful,” said Joel Holtby, co-founder and co-CCO at Courage. “We’re just so excited to work with a cultural staple that has creativity in its DNA.”
The agency says it is adding a couple more team members to to handle the Taco Bell business. Past campaign work for the QSR was handled by Dentsu One.
In December 2022, Courage was picked by KFC as its Canadian AOR, responsible for all creative marketing communications. Last summer, Courage made another big announcement with an expanded AOR relationship with Nestle, and since then the shop has taken on assignments for Boost, Coffee Mate, San Pellegrino, Kit Kat and it recently unveiled holiday-linked work for Turtles.
